I need to have some large prints made with a LightJet and I have text at the bottom right corner which I don't want to get cut off. I know that many digital printers overprint by about 2%. Does anyone know if the LightJet does this and if it does how I can assure that my text shows up exactly where I want it to? I really don't want to have to guess with a $100+ print!

Erik, I used Photocraft's lightjet for a 40" 50" Eureka Cascade print and they went all the way to the border. Of course I set it up for the Level 2 print service in CS2 before hand. Call Jen Freehill at PC and tell her what you want. I'm sure they can make it work for you.
I just checked the print on my wall against the digital file I sent them and it is smack-on!

That's very helpful Ken! It has been a challenge to compensate for that 2% at other printers, glad I won't have to do it at PC.

The Fuji and Noritsu imagers will not properly print border-to-border; attempts to compensate are the cause of the 2% loss.
Lightjet and Chromira imagers will print full-bleed and exact scale. This and expanded color range are two major reasons to print on more expensive imagers. (The final one being that you can print larger than 12x18"!)
I've never had a problem with Photocraft's Level 2 Lightjet processing, and I hope you enjoy!
