How is the best way to increase the size of an image, i am using a D1H and they come out the camera at about 10in x 6in, in the past i have just used the crop tool and set the dimensions to what i want, however since i have changed my workflow and now use layers is there a better way????

If you have to do this BIG then Photo Zoom Pro 2 would be my preference - especially if you have a batch of them.

No idea if it's the best method but I tend to just use Photoshop's Bicubic interpolation.
Setting the resolution to 360 pxls/inch for Epson inkjet printers,or,300 pxls/inch for Canon inkjet printers.
