CS3 printing problem

Is anyone else having problems with printing in CS3 Beta?

I can't get the Page Setup to accept any page size other than 8 1/2 x 11. I've tried to change it through File>Page Setup and through File>Print and in both it defaults back to 8 1/2 x 11 after I select the page size I actually want.

Is this a known bug in the Beta, or do I need to perhaps re-install the program? Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes, I had the same problem and went back to printing from CS2. Supposedly there's a workaround but it's too convoluted.

Thanks Guy - I went back to CS2 as well for printing. I'm just glad to know I'm not the only one with the problem.

You're not.

If you're interested, the solution is to go to Print, go to Printer Setup, set your printer settings (if you're on an Epson printer, create some Custom Settings, or you'll go bonkers - PSCS3 doesn't save those settings right now...), exit printer settings back to the PSCS3 print dialog, then check "scale image to fit", adjust orientation (you *must* change the orientation, even it currently appears to be correct), and uncheck the scale image box. Fire off the print, and once again go to Printer Properties to re-configure your printer (argh!!!!).

Annoying as all ****. But I love the idea of combining the proofing page with the print dialog. When it's finally released, it will be a great workflow improvement.

It is a very convoluted work around. I look forward to the final release. I am curious to know what the difference will be between the "Basic" edition and the "Pro" edition.
