Hi
nice capture. water droplets add to it and what an eye. nice comp to
What an attractive looking species.A nice shot with the way the grebe's head is angled slightly towards the camera, working particularly well.
I feel cropping this to a panoramic format would be one option that would work well,or at least losing just a little from the top of the frame would be an idea, just enough to lose the small ripples near the top edge.

Superb bird, very nicely 'shot'.
I would go for the pano option too.

Hi Andy,
Last time I saw one of these (in Otley) I was so excited I dropped 5K's worth of stuff in a lake, so watchout for those demon eyes! Nice shot

Hi Andy, whilst I feel the fabulous subject is captured here rather well I often find a rippled surface lets an image down. In the abscence of still weather the only option is to get right down to water level which is very often not possible either.
