I am planning a trip to Slimbridge tomorrow - does anyone know if the Bittern is still there?

I understand the place to be is the Zeiss Hide. Is the two level L shaped one? If so can anyone recommend the best place for viewing (although I expect I won't be the only one with the same idea!)

Best

It was there yesterday. The far corner of the lower tier of the Zeiss Hide is the best place to see the Bittern from. It can get chilly up there, so wrap up warmly! Cetti`s Warbler has also been seen in the small reedbed by the hide, so keep your eyes open.

Thanks Jeremy. Ross and I will join the queue to get into the hide at 9:30

On Thursday pm (around 2:30) it got bored hiding in the reeds and was parading along the front fence line. All the togs with 600mm lens were rushing to the back of the hide !

The bittern wasn't showing this morning, but good views of the Cetti's.
