We have uploaded the February cover for NPN - another fantastic close-up by NPN member Mike Moats. Mike is known for his stunning close-up work and this photo of ice is no exception!
We also have some new articles in the works and as usual, we will be posting them over the course of the month.
Congratulations Mike on being selected for the cover! You have the most varied collection of leaves and other objects that most of us pass by without a second glance. Thanks for showing us just what we've been missing. Keep 'em coming.

Congratulations Mike! As the image scrolled in I thought it looked like corroding metal. I've seen images from a well published fellow who takes macro shots of rusting cars, and they're stunning. Yours is everybit as good or better whether metal or ice.
Oh good grief.... That's an unintelligable way of saying that I LOVE your cover image!

Mr. Moats' cover is the kind of photograph I wish I could make.
Also, dang Jim, I admire your admiration skills. Really, the NPN cover shots are head and shoulders above what the print magazines are sending me. It's is not about print quality. It's about heart quality. Thanks as always. Pete D,

It really helps to have a very talented group posting on NPN - makes finding "cover shot candidates" easy!
Of course, then choosing just one becomes a bit more difficult...
