Long-tailed Tit
Been really busy the last few weeks and haven't had much time for any photography so it was good to get out yesterday for a couple of hours. Had a really enjoyable time and this was topped by this LTT landing on the tree I was concentrating on. Ran out of battery 3 shots later  and missed the perfect BG as it moved along the branch by the time I'd recharged! Missed a Goldcrest which I had 1 opportunity to get as my viewfinder was fogged up  All amateurish mistakes I suspect...but I am an amateur afterall with a lot to learn

C&C appreciated

Graeme

You may feel you missed the perfect BG but you've still ended up with an image that really shows the colouring and detail of the LLT. A full frame shot is this quality is one to be proud of and worthy of high comment.

Well done :toast:

Well Graeme if this is only second best it is one I wish I had in my collection. These things always happen at the most annoying moment but they are part of why we keep going out there. If we bagged a perfect shot w'd soon get bored and give up.

This is superb.

Hi Graeme,
I don't think you could ask for much more , the light , the bg and the subject are all superb , if it were mine I'd very happy indeed.

Kind regards
Andy...
