I went to wiseman's view for sunrise then drove up to Flat Rock and witnessed the snow showers come over GrandFather Mtn. I had to drive Roseboro road and then 221 to get back on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was snowing to beat the band! I parked near Stack Rock, took a few shots and was met by a Park Ranger back at my vehicle . I had to turn around and leave as the Parkway was being shut down at Beacon Heights. I was glad to see the snow as we were robbed of getting much during last week's "big" storm.

Really nice, Leann! I love the mood and the fact that you captured the intensity of the snowfall . I think I'll go put on my slippers and make some hot chocolate to get warmed up.
