Love the contrast. The exposure looks great. However, I see some pretty significant banding in the sky. Unfortunately, I'm currently on a non-calibrated monitor, so I'm not viewing under optimum conditions.

Nice shot! I like the grass/plants sticking out of the water. The banding is on my color-calibrated monitor as well. Did you tweak the shadows/highlights or exposure?

The sky looks okay to me, banding-wise, but that blue is a bit too intense. But I looooove the shot!

Jody, I have always loved this area. I have seen it in numerous books/calendars but have never made the hike into this area. How long does it take to get in and did you get out before dark?

BTW, great shot, but I see the banding in the sky too.

Love it! Love it! Love it!!!

Foreground, mid ground, mountains and sky all look all draw a person into the shot.

Just curious, did you use a polarizer?

Blues look fine on my laptop but on my desktop they do look a little wacky....mmmm!

Great shot, but the blues are a little purply. Thanks for reminding us what summer looks like!

The foreground is spectacular! If you could get the whole sky to match the color closest to the mts, it would be a real winner.

Cool shot! Like the blocked out shoreline for the contrast it adds. The foreground water looks a little purple but It makes it interesting!

Nice!

Looks wonderful to me. I seem to recall a similar shot you posted this summer, which I really liked. I love the rich blue hues.

I'm seeing the banding, on my laptop, too; could be a JPEG artifact or something from the scan/processing.

Love the image, though. Assuming it's not banded like that on the original, it's definitely a keeper. The sky does look a bit intense; if you saturated the image to get color in the trees, I'd back off the overall saturation and just bump up the greens. (The mountain has a bit more purple in it than I'd expect, too, but I've never seen it in person, and in that region of the state, I wouldn't make bets...)
