Black Grouse Tetrao tetrix
1DII, 500/4, 1.4x, 1/250@f/5.6, ISO200, Balanced on stone wall. Sunset.

Having spent a few hours photographing snowdrops the other day, I decided to carry on and see what else was out and about - found three of these ladies munching away on the other side of a stone wall and managed to get some shots in before some dog walkers disturbed them :rolleyes:.

Nice one Nick, I've yet to see Black grouse must make the effort to see them. Great light.
