Crested Tit
I spent a couple of days photographing these beautiful birds in Norway, no easy task as they are very fast. I like the pose on this one, which is feeding on a bit of fat tucked behind the perch.

Canon EOS 1D MKII, 500mm Lens, Hide, F4, 1/100, ISO Rating 250.

Hi Danny,

Lovely image, was this at the same time/place as the Golden Eagle?

regards Chris.

Very nice Danny. Never seen one. They even look like the Porsche of Tits :toast:

nice - like the different composition, the lovely 'snow light' (if you know what I mean) and would love to just see one of these personally

Never realised these birds have got camouflage colours. Fantastic image, different from the norm. At 1/100th second I bet a lot were blurred! Well done for resisting flash.
