At Jon's motivation to see some more photos (see two posts ago), here's a shot from Telluride ski area last Thursday, after a foot or so of fresh. Nothing too monumental here... just shot from my Fuji F30 from the top of one of the lifts.
This was soon after I got out of control riding through the trees and got launched by a hidden log into the air, landing on my side on ROCKS. I think I pounded my camera pretty good but it was just fine... my rib is bruised though. Anyways I'm getting better fast. I'm not limping anymore.

oh, nice Jack. I like the way the ridgeline and valley line lead the eye left to right and I also really like the building in the bottom that gives one a sense of scale. Sounds like the riding is a lot better down there now than in the Northern Colorado areas. Glad to hear you have recovered, were you practicing for next years X Games?

This is really nice Jack. Is this a B&W conversion or a result of the storm that the image is so monotone? Either way it is a very cool look.

Hey, thanks guys. Mel, I shot this with my camera in B/W mode; I actually bumped up the contrast a little... the hovering clouds filtered the light making for soft contrast.

Beautiful shot, hope you heal quickly so we can see more stuff like this.

Nice shot, jack. Glad to hear you're recovering fast, usually ribs stay sore for a while.
