I loved finding this little spot.. and the monochromatic look of the rocks. I've toned down the rock reflections as much as I think I can, and decided to leave the little bit of color there was in this one. Thanks for your comments and suggestions.

I like it Ned. It doesn't hold a candle next to your last B&W image though.
Ned, What I like about this one is that it is made up of blocks of same size patterns going in all directions. The rocks and the sections of water are all of similar size. Makes it almost like a quilt.

I like the feel of this one Ned. I enjoy the way the water envelopes the rocks thus containing the chaos...just my opinion

Ned, I love this shot. I wonder if the specular highlights on the center bottom rock could be toned down a smidge so they don't draw the eye so directly to the bottom of the frame? Still, a neat shot.

I like this, Ned. It's cool how, for the three main rocks in the center, the top two are smothed and the third has some angular shape to it still. It makes you appreciate the power of flowing water over a long time.
While it works the way you've presented it, have you thought about cutting out the bottom rocks? If you did that, the center rocks would seem to float more and the water would seem "softer." (Maybe this is only intersting to me because of my observation about the shape of the rocks.) Just an idea.

I do have some comps like that too - I'll have to get around to posting one. My wife April was amazed at how the three were able to remain in that position... I like this creek - every time I go back I find new ways to shoot it, and it seems to always be in a state of change throughout the season..
