I currently have Photo Craft in Boulder CO, to all of my 4x5 E6 development, but have had my local photo lab do my C41 (fuji 160s) processing. For obvious reasons, film buisness has dropped off dramatically. As a result, local volume has decreased to a snail's pace and prices have shot up a lot. I don't really trust the chemical quality since the local labs volume is so low, and PhotoCraft doesn't do 4x5 C41 processing.
Does anyone know of a well regarded U.S. lab that processes 4x5 C41? Price is of interest as well, though much less than the quality and consistancy of development. Many thanks in advance!
No booing from me
A&I here in So. Calif does my C41 and E6 with expertise, Joel. http://www.aandi.com/
They're not dirt cheap at $2.50 a sheet, but they know what they're doing.

IVEY in Seattle does it well for $2.50 a sheet.

Joel - many of my clients are using my local lab in South Bend (Mishawaka, actually): Lighthouse Imaging (www.lighthouseimaging.com). I use them for all of my own work. They do high quality C-41 processing for $1.65 or $1.75 ( I forget which) per sheet. Tell them I sent you!
Here's another vote for A&I. They do all my 4x5 and 645 processing. They will also do push/pull development for a little extra per sheet. I have been very pleased with their service.

I have been using Lighthouse Imaging as well, on Danny's recommendation. They can handle BW, print and slide film from 35 mm to at least 8x10. If you go to their website, just be forewarned that it is not real impressive. Their work, though, is far, far better.
The only other lab I have been just as happy with unfortunately closed. Believe me, I have used a lot of labs and a lot of places that called themselves labs.
