Here is an image shot in the North Cascades along the North Cascade Creek. Taken early October of '06. I just liked the moss and leaves among the rocks and flow of the water. I hope it doesn't appear over-sharpened.

Dave...I really like this and I love the colors you have presented here...
what about cropping the white off the bottom of the image....just curious!?

The colors go really well here Dave, but I'm with Darren on the bottom. Might even look great in square format from the top down. Beautiful place.

Nice image there Dave - I love the punchy colors in this image that really compliment this image
Very nice comp, Dave. Can't say it is oversharpened, but I sure am curious how you sharpened it - very good sharpening.

Thanks for the comments guys! I am torn where to crop off the bottom...this is the 2nd crop off the original crop (removing most of the white on the bottom) I wanted to leave the rock at the lower right in the image to give your eye movement from left to right. fill free copy and repost your cropping ideas. As for the sharpening Craig I sharpened the original to my print output (Photoshop setting Amount 249, Radius .09, and Threshold 0) Reduced the image to 72dpi and sharpened for my web output(Amount 174, Radius .07, and Threshold 0) It will look oversharpened on your monitor, but when you upload and the web settings the host uses, it should come out fine. You may have to play with the numbers to suit your taste.
