Wahkeena Falls
I can't believe I went shooting with the waterfalls specialist and came back with only one decent shot that's worthy of posting. It's like studying business in Harvard and ending up without a job  I should probably give up on photography :).

Pradeep..... No way---Ive been in worse..... sometimes if I shoot far 2-3 days I am lucky to get 2-3 keepers... just ask around.

Keep being particular. Theres nothing wrong with that.

pradeep, don't let it get to you. there have been times when i've wondered around extraordinary places and came home with crap... it happens to everyone. sorta like writers block. there's only one cure - to keep on shooting!!

I think when you go shooting with the "Falls Master" he somehow sucks all your creative energy out and puts it work for him, LOL. Many, many times have I been out shooting with Ned and come back with crap only to see his wonderful posts the next few days after....AAARRRGGGHHH!!!

Not so fast my friend. You didn't come back with a single shot, you came back with a whole bunch of interesting possibilities. Try some tight crops, just play around with them, and you'll find you have brought back a huge number of images. And, you may come back with new ways of seeing the same waterfall.

Wahkeena? It looks like Fairy Falls. This ain't too bad, it's almost black and white as it is, why not try that out and jack up the whites?
...and Falls Fenimore, yeah, I know, that guy's evil.

Nice attempt... this is Fairy Falls, I can confirm that ! Do some more close up shots next time, there is so many "conversations" going on in this single waterfall......

You guys crack me up... I like the image, Pradeep.. do you print these at all? I'm thinking this small representation isn't doing the original image justice...

Okay, you guys, now, I gotta jump in here and stick up for Ned. Even though I know you're just joshing and Ned is taking this all in stride and with good humor.
Come to think of it, if I were standing anywhere around Ned, I would probably feel the g-forces, lose my backbone and never be able to take another 'Falls' shot again.
Pradeep, you brave man, keep your courage and return there often. I like your shot. The whites look hot in some places, though. Maybe you can weedle a tip or two out of Ned next time... If so, pass 'em on! Maybe we could talk the 'Falls' expert into doing a 'Falls' workshop.

Nice one Pradeep. I knew this was Fairy Falls all along but didn't want to open my big mouth on account that there was a chance I didn't know what I was talking about. Ya did good here. I really believe you are starting to come along with your photography. Just keep working at it and you'll be fine. :toast:
