Using Bowens Pulsars as remote camera triggers

I have a set of Bowens Pulsars that I want to use to trigger my D2Xs from a distance for wildlife photography. Most photographers use the Pulsars to trigger flashlights, but I have read somewhere that you should also be able to trigger just the camera and use the Pulsars as a remote shutter release.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? The manual is quite unclear about this.

Thanks for your help!

Hmm, well obviously not much experience here with this.

Meanwhile I have been doing some research and as it appears you need a cable to connect the Pulsar receiver to the camera. Nikon or any other brand doesn't make such cables, so I now have one custom made. Problem solved. :wavey:
