Hey,
Been kinda busy lately so I thought I'd post one from last September. This is the Green River flowing through Echo Park in Dinosaur NM.
I'm going to try to go back when the trees are fully turned this fall.
Comments/critique welcome.

(Man I hate compressing these images, and this is a .jpg of a .jpg!)

Nice scene/image Chuck. Can you enhance the red in the wall and the reflection a bit? That may make it even more striking.

The elegant curves of the trees and river bank make this sing, Chuck. Very nice!

Chuck, I think I like your mixture of yellow and green probably better than the all yellow that you'd get at full peak. Let's compare your shots next year! I agree with Dave, better lighting and/or processing on the sandstone wall would really make this special.

Thanks for the comments guys.
Darren, this is Sept 27 or thereabouts so It' almost October. Judging from this I'd say the 15th would be a little late. I'm going to try sometime in the first week of Oct. this year - hopefully.
Warm sunset light doesn't really hit this wall because of the canyon walls behind me from this perspective. I might try to get it with the late afternoon light but it may be kind of bright and harsh. We'll see. The diffuse light makes the colors come out more. I'll try boosting the saturation in the wall a bit too. Good suggestions!
