Yow, captain, we are being sucked into a black hole! I love the flowing lines and clors as well as the perspective. Ack, but I can't look at it for more than a split second without my eye being sucked into that dark spot, it serioulsy is a like a black hole to my eye, it just keeps sucking me in and I can't get out.

Ok maybe it isn't that bad but I still must voice my perturbance with it. Other than that, great shot!

Think I should lighten that a little?

Not bad, Mr. Hudon. Not bad at all.

The stuff in the FG is a bit redder than I'd expect, but I wasn't there. I don't feel overly attached to the lower part of the image. Aside from nit about the color, I don't think it detracts either. For the record, if you'd given me the NEF for this and asked me to come up with a rendition to impress you with it, I'd crop from just above the lowest green band.

The one with the darker shadow seems to have more depth to it IMHO. I vote for the original version.

There's something odd about the grass just left of the center. Did you clone out something?

All nitpicking aside, this is an awesome shot. Congrats.

Mark, I like the ying-yang swirls at the top. This looks like you were in a helicopter. Great view!!

Thanks, no, no cloning at all. I have space on the original on the top and left, maybe I can find a comp, with less bottom that I like.
Thanks again.

Very dreamy and pleasant scene, Mark. I like all of it. Well done!

I enjoy the surreal aspect of this effect from Steptoe - It is not something you see from here - I think the patterns of contrast make this a good image - by the way is there going to be a field trip where people from the NPN go to the Palouse this spring ?

Hey guys, check out my version of this over at M&N. I included a bit more on the left and tried to make it less red.

I'm liking this a lot too. I really like the tractor in there. It gives a good sense of scale.
