Nisqually Road is paved at Sunshine Point, culverts are almost done being installed at Kautz Creek and electricity is soon to be restored to Longmire. However, the Stevens Canyon Road and Highway 123 aren't slated to be fixed until June, and will take 2 and 4 months respectively to finish the repairs. So Rainier from the east side might be just a liiiittle difficult to do this year.

Thanks Bryan. Any news on rt. 410 to White River entrance, and then up to Sunrise? Or rt. 410 up to Cayuse Pass and Chinook Pass?

410 is, as far as I know, just closed at Crystal as usual. I didn't hear anything about damage to that section of road initially - other than one of the loops to White River Campground and a small section of the approach road - so we'll probably have to wait a few months to know for sure. I imagine 410 up to Chinook Pass should be fine, but it sounded like Chinook Creek or one of the small gullies may have taken out a section of 123 just below Cayuse Pass.

Additional information on some trail conditions available here:

The most surprising note, the footbridge over the Ohanapecosh River just below Silver Falls is said to be severely damaged. That bridge stood 75 above the river! I can't even fathom how much water there had to have been coming down there for that thing to have gotten hurt.
