Morning Mist
Henderson Inlet near Olympia.

This was taken last year one morning from my back yard. I am fortunate to live in such an amazing place because it changes so much thru the year. This morning it was so foggy at 8am I couldn't see the water yet an hour later the fog is beginning to rise. But to get image like this, you need to be there at the right time and that is very rare...

Thats a cool shot David. It's nice and moody with the rays of fog. It does seem to have a bit of a green or yellow color though.

Looks great to me!

It looks better on my laptop monitor which was calibrated with a Greitag Macbeth software/hardware combo than it does on my desktop which was calibrated with ColorVision PrintFix Pro Suite. I do see more of a yellow tint on the desktop..

The light penetrating the fog really makes this image. Good comp with the birds on the right balancing the greenery on the left. Well seen.

Nice comp and lighting, but it does have a pretty severe yellow / green tint on my monitor (calibrated with a Monaco Opitx XR)

Henderson Inlet is your backyard? Gee that's too bad! Lucky you, and a great shot, though with color cast as mentioned.

Wonderful capture, you managed to catch all the ducks upright! (I've got a fine collection of bird-butt images through my travels....)
