A trip out to Kinmel Bay gave me an opportunity to grab some images of this lovely owl :) The heavy clooud cover didnt do me any favours but I'll be going back :) I've cropped about 10% all round to fill the frame slightly more.

Canon 1D MKII N, Canon 600mm + x1.4TC
ISO400 raw 1/200sec@f8
Tripod - Astra SRI Turbo :)

I totally agree with David K on his comment regarding tough species. I will put this shot of the SEO down as phase one, knowing you, now I am looking forward to the next images you will be taking from the Turbo

Hiya Vince, there are a pair of SEOs here

and I can shoot from the car lol. More from today added to the website and they are full frame flight shots
