I have ICE, too
Following Jacks post I thought I'd include one of my recent ice images. This was taken last week, and the size of the formation shown is roughly five feet.

I love winter :jump: :jump:

Nice shot. Robert! The exposure of this image is perfect, giving me a real feeling for the cold.
Our pier gets a lot of ice on the lamp posts and railings in the winter, but it's seldom this translucent...it's almost always white because of the combination with snow.

Strong image here with lots to look at. I'm sure a print would be very nice. Cool formations!

Neat image Robert, love the detail in this, I shot a few of these myself the last couple of days..btw how bad was the snowstorm up your way it missed us and went north?

Bernie, the snow storm was a pretty good one in terms of intensity; however. the snow didn't really stick to the trees.

I tried getting out this morning. The way the ice was glowing in the sun light was very photogenic, but I couldn't get to the location I had chosen. All county roads around here are suppose to be considered closed, but I took a risk anyhow. The downside was once I reached my location there wasn't anyplace safe to park. Had I tried I would've certainly still been digging myself out. After pushing three people out of their driveways along my way I felt it just wasn't worth it and headed back home

It was a nice storm and I loved it, but I chose to enjoy this round from the sidelines. Maybe next time
