Hey Folks,
This was taken from Sycamore Grove park about 5 miles from where I live. It's my local park that I've spent lots of time in over the years and a place I can get a way for a couple of hours without having to be away from home for an extended time.
I had scouted this grove of Sycamore trees a few weeks earlier and returned late in the afternoon just for this occasion. I was very pleasantly surprised that Velvia 100F brought out the colors that it did. When I first looked at it, I would swear that a blue/gold polarizer was used... but I don't own one! The original tranny is very close to this.
...just click your heals together three times... there's no place like home, there's no place like home..

Lovely light on the bare trees. Can't do that in summertime.
This just plain sweet! The sky is right on the money, and the light on the trees is wonderful!

Cool shot Lon. Velvia 100F was a good choice to showcase the intimate lighting. I wonder what Provia would've looked like? It's great to have a place close to home to shoot. Images close to home really allow a photographer to get intimate with the place and really produce some thought provoking work.
