This is another shot taken the other day whilst out in the snow covered fields with our birds.

Just wanted to capture a power flight & determined look.

Is this a young bird or is that standard eye colour, I learnt that young ospreys have this colour eyes.
Looks like you're enjoying your bargain purchase, what a lucky fella you are.

Thanks Tim for the placing the only comment/question to this image Looking at the original image & working close with the Owl, his eyes are normally that colour, he is an adult Owl at the age of 9.

With regards to the new lens, all I can say is that I think it is the best purchase I have made, it's quick & incredibly sharp!

Maybe I am lucky to have it but at half the price how could anyone resist, to be honest I was very surprised it was not snapped up by one of Fixations customers especially as they advertised over a 5day period.

Would I buy this lens at the normal retail price? No!
Would I buy any of my kit at a retail price? No!
