Cormorants in flight
Canon EOS 1D MKII, 600mm f4 non IS, G1548, Wimberley head, Full Camo gear!, 1/2700, f8, ISO 400, RAW, RSE2006, CS2. Fairly big crop and alot of PS work!!

Hi All,

I found out last night that my Barn Owl box opposite my home now has a pair in there :jump: so fingers crossed that they will breed this summer.

I was back over there at first light this morning and from a distance saw the female going back into the box( I know from watching the male the past few weeks that he will already be in there as he was always back in the box well before dawn)so with the Owl's safely "home" I turned my attention to the other species around me along the River. As well as these two Cormorants I had Greylag and Canada Geese flying over head also Mute Swan, Teal, Coot, Moor Hen and Mallard. I also saw Little Grebe on the water and Reed Buntings in the Reed beds, Oh and Sparrowhawk and Kestrel

All comments welcome

Regards

Rob

Hi Rob

Nice well composed flight shot - for me they look a tad under exposed and would benefit from a quick levels adjustment!

Rob,

You certainly live in a great location for wildlife.

I prefer the repost, after your levels modification.

Sounds like you live in photographer's paradise Rob!!!

Good flight shot of these. Prefer the repost. Perhaps overexposing a bit next time would mean less PS work and a bit more detail in the blacks? I constantly underexpose grab shots, so I'm a fine one to talk
