Just thought I'd chime in about our newest member of the family. Netta Anne came to us at 2:12 AM on 2/1 and is healthier than expected and a good eater too! This allowed us to leave OHSU in 2 days instead of 30, and we'll know more about her upcoming open heart surgery hopefully by the end of this week.
Things are busy here as you would expect, but I'm hoping to get out sometime this year;) Any takers for PDX-intown shooting?

Let me be the first to offer you and your wife congratulations, Kevin! Sweet! I know all too well how much time a new child can carve out of one's schedule so not getting out to take pictures is quite understandable...
My well wishes and prayers are with all of you for Netta Anne's heart surgery.

Congratulations Kevin and Kaia! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Hi Kevin, I don't know you but just wanted to wish you and your new baby Netta all the very best for the surgery. This must be a very difficult thing to have to face and hope you guys are holding up.

Kevin, I was wondering about you guys. I'm glad the outcome is more positive than you had anticipated.
Congrats on the new addition to your family!

Kevin,
She's a real gem. When does she get a trainer 5d? I hope al goes well. Sounds like she's going to be just fine.

Congrats Kevin (and family). As I try and quietly type so as not to wake-up my stomach flu-laden 2.5 year old, best wishes.
Thanks all! It really is the most tiring and also rewarding time having a little baby. And with a 3 year old also - NO sleep. jk Feels like it though. We've been spoiled, Kaia's family has been out every week so far to help out.
FYI, our visit with the ped cardiologist yesterday couldn't have gone better. She's gaining weight better than expected and unless things suddenly turn for the worse, we'll just keep getting her stronger for the surgery. So far, she's been the ideal patient for the upcoming fix.
Darren, yeah, I did finish that fence, with just 24 hours to spare. I really had to turn on the afterburners to finish in time (I stayed up until 1:30 AM one night staining trellis pieces). I can post a pic if you're really interested.

Kevin,,,no thats cool. I just want to make sure when your wife says he has the kids that you are not obligated to build a fence and you can go take pictures!!!!!!
