I am just wondering if anybody knows the Ecola State Park area somewhat. I am trying to figure the best way to shoot the haystacks that are right below the Ecola State Park Viewpoint(not the Cannon Beach haystacks). This weekend will be a minus 0.7 tide and I want to get out to the haystacks to shoot them but unsure how to get down to the beach level. Do I access it from Indian Beach ? I have only ever been to the Ecola Viewpoint from the parking lot.

Thank you in advance !

Yes, start at Indian Beach and if possible work over the headland between Indian and the other beach. You can sometimes walk along the front at the edge of the water, but make sure you have plotted a way back out before it gets dark on you.
