I've been acclimating myself to Lightroom over the past couple weeks in prep for getting 1.0, so I've been sorting through a lot of my shots. I came across this one from last year that I wasn't too hot on at the time, but as I look at it again, I really like it. Thoughts, comments and input requested.

I love the unique perspective on this Bryan! Very well seen and executed!!!

Now where is this?? I'm thinking Twin Falls but that could be completely wrong of course...

the foreground is overpowering.....good for web viewing but as a large print I am not sure it would work well.....I do, however, love the perspective :toast:

Bryan,
My eyes went immediately to the blurred spray, and on down the stream...ties together very well. The overall moodiness contrasts nicely with the waters. I'd think printing it larger than an 11x would make it even more appealing than what our monitors limit us to. So make one, and tell us what you think.

Rick - This is at Victor Falls near Sumner. Neat place, very wilderness-like, considering its right in the middle of suburbia. My car got broken into when I was taking this shot though, they stole my backpack which had a lens in it, so if its someplace you wanna go, be sure to leave NOTHING in sight in your car (even though the falls are literally 50 feet downstream from the road).

Bill - I would if I could. I might toss out an 8x10 and see what it looks like. Maybe I'll tempt Rick with some chocolate into letting me print one on his 4800.

I really dig this perspective. It is a little busy at the bottom, but hey, that's PNW..... sorry to hear about your car being broken into. The KARMA will get back to them...

I like it too. Though I do feel like I'm viewing two types of images with the foreground being overpowering like Darren said. I really like the mood of the rest of the image.

Bryan - forget the M&M's. Just take us up to Tin Cup Joe falls!

Looks like an intrguing place you found!
