Back before the first of the year I posted a thread seeking a source of rental lighting equipment in the Denver area. A number of your recommended Camren Camera, and I wanted to express my sincere thanks. They're a classy outfit and were great to deal with!
The wedding we shot was in a huge auditorium with a wedding party of 20. You couldn't light the ceremony with anything less than a setup for Mile High stadium, but the gear from Camren was ideal for all the formals, even with such a large party. My wife's working the formal shots right now, but I've attached quick pano crop of one of my own outtakes. Shot from the light platform at the back of the auditorium using a 300mm, if that gives you a sense of scale for the challenge.

That is pretty cool Hank. I have played with flash with my Nikon film setup but nothin like this scale. The lighting equipment must have used up megawatts.
Seems like we chatted a long time ago about the guy I bought my F4s from who lives in Homer. His daddy was an admiral in the USN.
You're plucking memory strings Ken, but I'm having trouble remembering where we talked.
This is actually shot under stage lighting (f/2.8 @ 1/4 sec, ISO 400) during the ceremony rather than the studio lights we rented. Before and after the ceremony we used 4 lights @ 1200WS each, or roughly ten times the power of our SB-800 from each light, while squeezing everyone pretty close together to get them within 1 stop of exposure front to back (f/8.5-f/11.5) @ 100 ISO. Not a chance of sufficiently lighting the background without a separate set of lights, so we did long exposures for fill (4 seconds).
All in all a really interesting variety of shooting over two days, but about as far from nature photography as you can get. After tthe gear was finally stowed a margarita was just right!
