This mornings hike was really what I needed....I needed to see new things and start over from scratch without any preconceived ideas in my head....so I took off up to the top of M-Falls and continued on until I came to an intersection with the trail and the Larch Mountain Trail decided that 4 miles was enough one way for today....
I was happy to see lush greens and yellow moss covered rocks...
Let me know that ya think of this one.....
Thanks Much!

Argh, it's the gorge in winter, lots of debris and bare branches to busy it up. You did well given these conditions, though. A nice perspective allowing the stream to flow all the way through the comp. I wonder if this might be better if you flipped it horizontally

Darren,
My wife and I took a hike today. We did the upper Latoural falls and the loop. Everything seemed dull and messy with lots of bare branches and twigs. The falls were raging from the recent rains. I didn't even bother taking my camera on the hike. Did you saturate those greens alot? What I saw wasn't even close to the vibrance of the greens you have int his shot . I do think it's a cool shot though.

Pretty cool but I agree that the greens are almost glowing here....... not sure if the gorge will be very pretty this year due to the strong wind/rain storms this winter.
