Oyster Catchers
One from Saturday, I'd gone out thinking that I may have a go at some flight shots.......funny how things change sometimes  Thanks for looking....

D200, 200-400VR+1.4TC @ 550mm, 1/750@f5.6 ISO 200, cropped from landscape to portrait.

A nice sense of recession here Paul. Nice to see some sunshine!

HI Paul

A very nice image, well seen and taken. :toast:

Only nit is the pattern of the Oystercatchers is not very 'aesthetic'. It is often worth just moving slightly to one side or the other to see how you can vary the composition or maybe isolated 2 or 3 birds. However I still think this shot works very well, the sharp beady eyes really stand out for me.

cheers

Sean

I like this image. The 3 prominent birds, sideways on, look good.

It is a bit different to the usual oystercatcher image as we cannot see there bills, so those red eyes stand out more than they would.

I like the vertical composition with the sea in the BG too.

Nice one!!
