Big Grin
Went a scouting this morning.

Ratties Back , albeit not where I expected them, but still:biggrin:

PS: The light was good first thing this morning; this was taken at about 8.30am.

Lovely Tom... I think it is an optical illusion (or my eyes  ) but it seems to be swimming ever so slightly uphill... a super image nontheless..

A lovely image that suits a pano format well.
I like the OOF surrounding vegetation too, it makes a nice frame.

Make the most of them. I hope they are around forever, but the ones we used to have here are now gone due to poor land management. The water-levels are just too high.

Looks good Tom.
Always good to see something returning.......has the area been made safer for them now? or is this one just a potential meal for the non native species?

I think they have passed on. The monitoring platforms have been left in place, both on the river and the canal which will, hopefully, forewarn of any return.

I saw 5 voles on Sun morning, all in a slighty different place, but still on the waterway. They are a lot more timid than the previous bunch and hopefully at least 1 is a female.

Another nice shot Tom  It's great that at least a few have survived the Mink. Hopefully the population will start to recover now

Very nice shot. I love the reflection.
Its sad that mink have become such a problem, they should of been sorted out when they where released, but its also a shame they where brought over here in the first place...

(Btw thanks again for the help the other day)
