Creek in the woods (with repost)
yesterday really gave me some strange lighting as it was mostly early morning defused light being filtered through the trees.

I am wondering if this looks too dark or does it look ok to you...the orig was pretty hazy with the natural light...

Thanks in advance

Darren

It looks a bit dark, but I like the comp.

It does look a little dark but there isn't much light up there this time of year. It's clean of twigs and bare branches. Overall I think you did good Darren.

I think the brightness of the scene is fine, it just looks a little too desaturated to me.

I think this is outstanding actually. I know this part of the creek very well and I think you have really caught the essence here. The baby tree adds scale and the bare brances show off the sheer basalt here. Well done, I do not find it too dark but I would add some more yellow and red with color balance.
