I have spent a considerable time using Lightroom beta, I have just spent the last two hours with Lightroom V1.

I am not one that is easily impressed with software, but am very impressed with this. It may be OTT for some but it is one very capiable (albeit complex) raw converter.

Have a play... 30 day free download availiable, start from here

Yeah - still waiting for the activation e-mail from Adobe .... will be interesting to play around with Lightroom, Aperture, CaptureOne Pro and all the others .

FWIW apparently any RawshooterPro users who don't hear from them by the 23rd need to get in touch with Adobe Customer Services.

FWIW,

If anyone has problems with the serial number not displaying 1st time though, don't click on the 'download' button at the 2nd screen, instead press the back button on your browser, and then click on the continue button - the serial number may display the 2nd time round (it did for me).

The serial number seems to be the same for Mac/PC ... so none of the Photoshop carry-on with serial numbers when changing systems
