This fits in with wierd camera club ideas of things in three being good on photos, perhaps they're right? This was taken whilst I was Bittern shooting, spoilt for choice.

Cheers

Sika hinds bedded down by the water - only ever seen this at Malham Tarn before.
Nice habitat shot Tim - I think it works - nice one.

I think they've spotted you Tim!

Nice shot, maybe still a bit tight in the frame on the left but nice to see a shot where hte viewpoint has been pulled back to include the environement.

Looks a bit different to the usual UK deer photos. It has a more 'wild' look to it.

One very small nit for me is the bright 'V-shaped' branch near the top left. I feel it is a bit distracting and would consider toning it down just a little.

I really like the composition and the fact you've included the whole tree behind them. It suits a vertical format well.

Very nice indeed! :toast:

I think it's an excellent composition, and a 'different' deer shot.

On the whole I do find it a bit too contrasty, due to the harsh light, but that's just my taste. Still, I'd rather have this shot in harsh light than no shot at all.

Comp is really good, maybe slightly more canvas on the left? That's not a nit, just interested in what it would look like :toast:

Good eye!!

Nice.. like it esp the composition.... would also be interesting with the reflection, but of course that would mean abandoning a different and pleasing comp..
