I know this might not be consistent with the forum guidelines, but since there may be those of you looking for a good black and white or color printing service, what the heck.
After a month or so, I now feel comfortable with the output from my recently acquired Canon iPF5000 printer, and am offering printing services to a limited number of artists in the area. Some photographers have said that with the addition of the 16-bit export plugin, this printer outperforms anything on the market for fine art B&W.
Because some of you may be attending the Spring Gathering, I thought this might be a good time to mention it, since there will be no shipping charge for prints - I'll just bring 'em with me. Drop me an email for details and prices. For B&W, I can go up to 17 inches x 40 feet on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper, and up to 59 feet on Inkjetart Micro Ceramic.

This is currently the best 17" printer on the market, and is the only 16-bit printer as well (color prints are wonderful too). And since Bedfords is out of the big-print market in Rogers, Bill is not only the best but the only game in town, black and white or color! I highly recommend anyone interested in great prints but not having their own printer to give him a try...

Thanks Tim! I forgot to mention that with the new firmware update, the dithering pattern has been improved, and now compares with Epson's wide-format line. But even before, the difference was only visible at high magnification - not something the casual viewer would ever notice.
Oh yeah, I do canvas (BreathingColor Brilliance Chromata White) too - great for those Orton-ized images.
