Anyone sick of ice yet? There's still not much snow around my area, so I'm taking what I can get. With this shot, I went for a more abstract composition and am currently pleased with the result (such things can change). If you can't figure out what's going on, the image was taken while standing along the lip of the frozen falls and pointing the camera downward. It was shot around dusk, as the light was beginning to get blueish. I choose not to color correct to much since I liked the mood. Enjoy.

Tech Stuff:
Tachihara 4x5, Fujinon 135mm, Fuji Astia 100f

Interesting colors and textures here Joel. It almost looks as if the freeze was instantaneous. I like the "over the top" viewpoint.

Good stuff Joel! I like the blue in the foreground with the warmer tones on the lower ice...

Excellent image, Joel. The colors compliment each other very well, and the comp. is very pleasing.
