Since just trying to walk around anywhere has become a nightmare due to all the ice I think I'm ready for spring now. I love winter, but when just walking from my vehicle into a store becomes an adventure it's time to let the season pass.
Some of you may recall my last ESS post with the ice, if so this one was also taken that day.

And here's a poorly composed photo of my ugly mug so as to put a face with the image. Yes, I know I look angry, but I'm really happy - the sun was just too bright

Very cool image Robert, I remembered your other one from ESS, this one is just as good. The lines thru this are really neat, and the blue and green colors are nice. BTW can you believe it only took about two days of rain and warmth to get rid of most of our snow and ice, I don't think we got near what you did though. Now we are socked in with incredible fog, it was to foggy to even take any images this morning Nice picture, you got more guts than I do, if I were to post mine I'm sure this whole site would crash

I could see a large print this image hanging on a wall! Very nice, Robert!
As for your mug shot...nice to "meet" you! Now put a smile on your face, bright sun or not.

Bernie, I know what you mean about the fog I just wished we had gotten it yesterday morning. The weather man said it would be foggy and I foolishly trusted him. Up early out the door heading to anywhere and I found very little fog. It appears they received it all up north and south. Hopefully you were able to take advantage of it for me. I work til Sun. so there's no chance for any photos til then.
Christopher, this was taken a few miles from my home. There's a small pond that has a little feeder stream flowing into it from another pond. I just happened to notice this interesting combination one morning and snapped a few images. I've went back since, but it hasn't been the same. Hopefully it will change once the snow melts off it a little.
Toni, I always seem to have a serious look on my face, sorry, but I'll see what I can do.

This is beautifully composed Robert. The color palette is very appealing as well. It's fun to "meet" you too! It would be nice if we could have an "introduce yourself" sticky thread such as there is on the PNW board.
