EDIT: I think that may be fishing line in it's bill? Very funny Dave  Should I get rid of it?

Very colourful. I really like the detail shown in the feathers.

If it is fishing line, and you did clone it out, I would still keep a copy of the image as-is to illustrate what they have to put up with.

A very nice capture indeed. :toast:

Nice, great colours and well processed, agree with Richard on keeping a copy with the fishing line, two different markets there....

Love the colours on this one Graeme - do you mind my asking what p/shop work was involved in making them zing like that as I'm sure there will be others who are always keen to learn more from a workflow perspective.

Thanks for all the comments. Very much appreciated.

Mark, it's a very good question  I'm actually really pleased with the way this came out as I usually fall short in my processing. I'm not the best in PS and struggle to be honest. I did however have a magenta/blue cast after my usual processing (my usual processing has been picked up on here - actually Phil Shaw's posting - i pretty much follow it to the book and then add a bit here and there from other people's work flow's) so I had a bash with the variations in CS2 adjustments. The main elements that brought these colours out were the Shadow/Highlight tool, Curves and Saturation and to be honest, I'm not sure I could recreate this as it is  That shows my lack of PS skills unfortunately :frown: From my perspective the key was getting the whites right. After that, everything seemed to fall into place.

Hope this helps a bit.
