I'm sooo tired
One from the archives I'm afraid.

Whilst sat in a vehicle observing the behaviour of a family of Little Owls, this youngster all of a sudden became very tired. He yawned & fell asleep whilst I was parked watching him.

Beautiful Owls & a real pleasure to be trusted within close proximity to where they lived.

D2X
600mm AF-S F4
ISO 125, F5.6, 1/80th sec
Vehicle used as a hide.
More or less full frame & straight out of the camera

Thanks for looking :toast:

Hi Vince,

So when is the book due out? You really do have some of the finest owl photographs around. Would make a great captioned greeting's card! :toast:

I've decided - when I shuffle this mortal coil I want to come back as an owl and live at Vinnies place

Another corker Vin :toast:

He certainly looks tired. Must be hard work sitting around waiting to be fed.

I like the surrounding green foliage.

Very nice indeed. :toast:
