Spring is definately arriving sooner, I found quite a large amount of frog spawn in the garden pond this morning - anyone else found any yet?
Best wishes

Hi Phil,
I don't have a pond so no frog spawn, but all the birds are more active male's chasing female's etc and also my local woodpeckers are drumming like mad. Can't wait to hear my first Cuckoo
Regards

Hi Phil,
Yes we have had frog-spawn in Staffordshire for a while now.
I found some on top of a fence post right by a ditch the other day, not sure what bird did that. A crow maybe?

They're spawning in Bristol, heard them start calling at the start of the week and seen them mating today. Glad I left the pond alone.

Same here, Phil.
I've had about 200 frogs in my pond spawning for the last 10 days - hardly any room for the fish!
