Moab trip - President's day weekend
I managed to make it out to Moab last weekend before the I-70 closure. I mostly hit the standard spots, but was able to hike around enough during the day that I'm starting to see the other possibilities. 55 degrees and sunny, with no snow on the trails, was great  It'll be hard to go back to shooting in RMNP.

I really liked the light about 20 minutes before sunrise - the rocks take on a red glow and clouds light up pink. Thanks to Les for his tip on Sand Dune Arch.

Nice color and mood in that shot Tony!

Awe, I can finally start to feel winter slowly starting to melt  For my first winter in Colorado it has been quite a lot of snow and 'cold.' I know it is not over yet but it is warming up. I am used to California 40-70 degree winters

I think my blood has definitely thickened since moving here. 40 degrees now feels like a heat wave.

Very nice comp and colors. The dynamic range is impressive, and the glow is great. I think we all want to see more.

Love the shot, Tony. Great work getting the little bit of sunlight inside the DR.
