(one from my archives)

While out and about last year, i was walking up a hedge row when i woke up this chap.I could'nt believe my eyes when his head popped up out of the grass and staired at me.

After he checked me out he got up and trotted slowly off, still keeping an eye on me tho.

Nice shot Alan. I might be tempted to crop it a bit.

Hi Rene

I did'nt want to crop it in anymore, because i wanted to show the fox in the surroundings i found him.Filling the frame with him would have lost all that.

Thanks for the comment

I see what you're saying Alan and also see Rene's perspective. Maybe a tiny bit small in the frame but love the setting you've chosen to illustrate. This is afterall the view I personally get of foxes. Very nice :toast:

I think it is a personal thing regarding the subjects size in the frame. I quite like it when they are smaller and show more of the surroundings.

I like this one. This is how I normally see foxes too.

Nice one!

Like it too a good sense of environment and the backwards look from the fox is great, might just crop a little bit from the left,
