We don't always have a great deal of color in the winter here but there are always plenty of black and white scenes around to point your camera at. Here is the gallery from our BW workshop this past weekend (we managed to dodge all the terrible storms).

Nice shots Tim, it looks like you had a good group. Are you using the new CS3 web gallery for these shots? FYI, saw a promo on channel 5 for the waterfalls series that Garret Lewis is doing this week and a nice interview with you. Looks like the series starts tomorrow.

Tom:

Yes, the web gallery function in Lightroom is great and very easy to use - I'll probably redo all of my normal galleries one of these days. With all of the same "develop" functions now in CS3 I find no other reason to buy Lightroom other than for this one feature. Looking forward to seeing how many waterfalls Garett found last week - it was great to see one of the TV guys get out into the woods for a change!

Those are some nice images in the gallery Tim - especially given the high winds we had over the weekend. I'll bet you're still trying to find some of your deck furniture  .

FYI: For those of you in the Little Rock area, I saw in yesterday's paper that Tim will be speaking at the Statehouse Convention Center for the Arkansas Flower and Garden show this Friday at 11:00.

Wind? Actually it didn't bother us too much but we have had quite a bit of high winds lately out here at the cabin - it doesn't seem to blow too much down in the valleys though where we were shooting over the weekend.

I will be doing a public slide program presentation in Little Rock on March 15th and one in Ft. Smith (at the main library) on April 17th. Those will probably be the only two public events for me this spring, but I do expect to have a few shows in the fall with the Yellowstone photos and the ones from my new book project...
