Hi,

After teasing me for some time these charismatic little balls of fluff on a stick have decided to visit my feeders :jump:

Weekend was ever so dull grey and wet, shutter speed was right down so pleased to get a few sharp images of these....

All the best

Phil

It is a lovely image.

I like the green lichen on the branch.

Lovely shot, the green lichen really sets it off along with the clean background. I'd be a happy chap with this in my collection

Very pretty, I just feel the eye needs a touch more USM. Excellent shot though.

Sweet! :toast: Superb everything!! impressed with your ability to get this with 1/60th!! I challenge anyone to get the whites on the top of the head exposed properly... I haven't managed it on a grey day either, so there's no chance when the sun's out

Superb Phil :toast:

High quality shot.
Who needs the 500s eh!
I was interested to hear that your 400 front focuses, I got a replacement for mine because it was back focusing, not sure that the new one isn't front focusing now, but if it is it is very marginal,

Cheers :toast: :toast:

Hi Phil

Nicely done. Lovely pose and colour, well done in the conditions. Maybe just sharpen up the eye a fraction. :toast:

I haven't had any of these in my garden this year... :frown:

cheers

A really fine shot Phil of this gorgeous friendly little bird.I really like that rain soaked perch which really captures the wonderful saturated colour of those green lichens.
