Well I'm back, it was great, wonderful and all of that. The curator said it was the biggest turnout he had ever seen and we sold three pieces (I sold two and my Mom sold one).
It was quite a thrill, let me tell you, to see all the hard work my Mom put into interpreting my photos. The photos and art were hung side by side and I'll have a small website set up soon where you can see the whole show.
This is a photo of Ellen, my Mom and I standing in front of my photo "Sandstone Detail" and her interpretation of it.

Which one is your Mom? They both look too young!

Congrats. If what is hanging on the wall behind you is representative of your entire show then it must have been pretty dang impressive. A great concept.
P.S. Have Ellen handle all sales. There won't be anything left by the end of the first day of the show. Too cute!
Congratulations on what seems like a very successful show, Mark. This is an amazing concept. I have always admired your photography. You mom's interpretations of those photographs is superb. Please pass along my compliments to her.

Doyle, I forwarded your comment to my Mother, she got quite a kick out of it. She's 73.
Congrats on the sales and the great show. I wish I had known you were in the area showing...
Where is the exhibit...how long will they be hanging? I'd love to stop by next week...
