Grey Sea Slug
Taken at St Abbs Marine Reserve, North Sea in 2006
Canon 5D, Sigma 50mm macro, 2 flashes, ISO 50, f22 @ 1/125
A fairly common nudibranch (sea slug) all around the UK. Nudibranchs are very specialised feeders and the Grey Sea Slug feeds exclusively on sea anemones, biting chunks out of their stems. This one has obviously found its personal Garden of Eden.

Fantastic, love the textures and loghting, i've always wanted to do under water photography. Great work!

Wow! this is very nice.

It was the anemones that caught my attention first.
I like the colour and detail in them. They look sharp.

The sea slug looks very good too, and I really like the overall composition.
