Saw this link on fark.com. I know this is Google Maps and not Google Earth, but who would've thought the satellite imagery would happen upon a cruise missile in flight! What's more amazing, that the satellite caught this, or that someone found it on Google Maps? I mean, we're talking about a pretty desolate stretch of Utah here.
Had trouble with the hyperlink, try putting this into the location search box above the map: 38°13'36.38"N, 112°17'56.59"W
Once there, click on "satellite" in the URC of the map, and select the second from closest magnification.

I just tried the coordinates in both Google earth and using the map feature of Google with the same results. Amazing, if it isn't a hoax.

I'm with Adam. It's a jet. Not sure if the wings are black, or if someone edited the photo, but you can clearly see the wings, but for some reason they appear black. Also, there are two contrails just a short distance behind it. You wouldn't get that with a missile. Also, that would be a HUGE missile.

I didn't even see the dark wings until Adam mentioned it. If you exclude them, it does indeed look like a cruise missile. But I think you guys are right, that it's a jetliner.
