I wasn't sure if I was going to have a clear sky near home, so I headed for Mt. Magazine, where satellite pictures showed it to be clear most of the day. From all the haze, I'm guessing the forest service had been at work again setting fires, and northwestly winds pushed the smoke down here. I wasn't even able to see the moon until it had risen well above the horizon. Once I was able to see it, it had somewhat of a reddish cast, which worked out OK.
FYI, I just went live with a new website, and would be interested to hear your comments. Oh yeah, make sure your speakers are turned on... http://www.williamdark.com

That's pretty cool, Bill - love the combination of sloping hills and the moon is perfect. Nice job!
Hey - the web site is great! I had no idea your photography was so diverse! It's kind of an interesting filter that this forum imposes (inflicts?). It looks fantastic. Thanks for sharing!

Bill, your shot is perfect, I really like the detail in the moon and the mountains in the background. I checked out your website and it is really nice. The abilility to pick the music you like is a very nice touch.

A most unique web site design for sure and very well done. My only comment would be to raise your print prices!
